why build a personal brand?

People do business with people they know, like, and trust. How do they get to know you? Social media of course.

Showing people "behind the scenes" snippets of your everyday life (read: NOT your products) is what connects people to YOU, the business owner. When people feel connected to you and how you approach life, they are likely to consider purchasing from you.





social media not working for you?

We see business owners either not participating because they don't know what to post or because the response has been so poor when they do show up on social media.

Most of the time, the images we see businesses using are stock photos, pictures of products (in bad lighting), or text blocks. While we love a good quote block, we know that people LOVE photos of people with great text to accompany it AND the algorithm favors photos of humans.

The more a business owner is infused into her social media, the more success she will find. Period. So drop the stock photos, grab a friend with the iPhone portrait mode feature, and practice your selfies.

We are Emily and Whitney, owners of Brand Launch. We help business owners, community leaders, and aspiring entrepreneurs show up with more intention and purpose on social media and IRL.

Great question! Where do your customers hang out the most? We are big fans of Instagram Stories and personal Facebook feeds.
